Winter vacation!
Hello. I haven’t seen you for a long time. We have a winter vacation, don’t we? This time, I want to tell you about this winter vacation.
First, at the end of the year, I visited to the grandparents’ house with my family. They are my father’s parents and they lived in Mie. The place they live is not town. There are large rice fields and the other fields. There are few convenience stores. It is not convenient to live there, but there are clean air and beautiful nature. My grandfather and grandmother are more aged than I have seen them. Grandfather has a stick to walk and grandmother is bowed by old age. It is too bad. However grandfather was good at that time, so we went to the shrine（神社）near their house to pay homage with my family. In the shrine, grandfather told us that there are a lot of letters which he wrote. He is a calligrapher. I know he is a calligrapher, but I don’t know there are his letters in such a place, so I was so surprised. Grandparents are very good and I was very happy to see them. After visiting their house, we went to OUTLET in Mie ”ジャズドリーム長島”, because my mother wanted to go there very much. I also want to buy clothes, but I don’t buy any. I wasn’t able to find good things at that time.
Second, I met various friends; college friends, high school friends, junior high school friends and so on. Some of them often meet me, but some of them haven’t seen me for a long time. I had good time when I met all of them. I talked about a lot of things with them. They work hard and enjoy their lives. I was very glad to hear that, and it made me do my best.
Third, I read one book. Before this winter vacation, I was going to read a lot of books, but I read only one book. The title of this book is “夢をかなえるゾウ”. It is popular now, so perhaps you know it. I think the book is good, it cheer me. If you want to read it, I want to lend you the book.

These days
Hello every one. This time, I would like to talk about me these days.
Recently it becomes cold, doesn’t it? But, it is a serious problem for me. I hate a cold! This is because, when it is cold, my finger hurts. Moreover, when I am careless, I get a cold. So, I hate a cold. However, I like a cold about some points. First, taking a bath and warm of futon when it is cold is better than hot days. The warm of bath and futon is very comfortable. Maybe you like them, don’t you? Second, we can see more stars at night. I don’t know why it is, in the winter, we can see many stars. Watching stars is very interesting. I like it. Third, we can go skiing. Ski is exciting, I go skiing some times in one season of winter. But, I don’t become to ski well. Last year, I went skiing with about 10 friends of this bioscience student. This trip is great time for me. We have a plan to go skiing this year too. I’m looking forward to it. We practice snowboard. The last of the next trip, I wish I did it well. Though I wrote some good points of cold, I don’t like a cold.
Next, I want to introduce the music which I often listen these days. These days, I listen to “ne-yo”. He is not Japanese. It is American music. I don’t know about music very well, maybe the genre of his music is R & B. The music is very cool. I borrowed the CD of ne-yo from Kenji Yoshida. Thanks, Yoshi-ken! Moreover, I also listen to “Syota Shimizu(清水翔太)” and “EXILE”. Kenji also lends me Shota Shimizu and Kimu lends me EXILE newest album. So I always listen to them.
Finally, I often play the computer game. Since a few days, I have played “Professor Layton and strange town(レイトン教授と不思議な町)”. It is a quiz game. There are many quizzes in this game. So I can reflect. I can most of the quizzes, but I can’t solve some quizzes. If you are interested in quizzes, please think about the difficult quizzes with me.
What I’m crazy about these days.
I would like to tell you about my hobby. Do you have a hobby? It may be indispensable for you. If you are tired of every day, you can do it. When you do it, you may be very comfortable. So, Hobby is very important. Recently, I have 2 hobbies.
First, I watch a TV program in America, “PRISON BREAK” these days. Do you know it? It is one of the most popular TV program in America and Japan! Today, American TV programs are very popular in Japan. For example, 24-TWENTY FOUR-, LOST, UGLY BETTY, PRISON BREAK, etc… I heard they all are very good! But, I only watched PRISON BREAK. Moreover I only watched PRISON BREAK season 1. What does it mean? American TV programs have many stories and PRISON BREAK also have 4 seasons! (A season has 22 hours!) Moreover it continues to broadcast in America now. It is slightly hard to watch all of them. However, PRISON BREAK is exiting and interesting! If you haven’t watched it, I want you to do it. And talk about it with me! On the other hands, if you have PRISON BREAK season 2, tell me it. Can I borrow it?
Second, I often play computer game. I bought Nintendo DS before. It is very fun. These days many of Japanese play computer game. They also play it in train. When I’m not busy, sometimes I play it, too. Nintendo DS are made for playing with many friends. We play it with as many as 8 people together!
Recently, I get “Make Professional Soccer Team! (プロサッカーチームを作ろう)”. It is pretty exciting to watch soccer game, and interesting to make my own team! I am crazy about playing it. Kota, Kenta and Hodaka also play it and I am going to compete with them. Some of the other students in the bioscience students also have Nintendo DS. And some of them are going to buy it. Today, Almost of Japanese people have computer games. Japan is the greatest game country.
What make me
What make me are Basketball, my mother and father, and friends.
First, I started to play basketball when I was a junior high school student. What made me want to play basketball is a comic, “SLAM DANK”. It has been very famous comic in Japan. And it was also popular at the time. Moreover, my mother was a good basket ball player, so I thought I may be a good player like my mother, but I can’t be a good player…haha. However, today, I think it is good for me to start to play basketball. It gave me a lot of things; pleasure of exercise, pleasure of win, shame of loses pleasure of effort, and good friends. In high school, I tried to retire the basketball club, but the teammates stimulate me. I was moved by it. Finally, I continue to play basketball and we won several times on our last competition. I am proud of it a little. Today, I continue to play it with not club teammates but friends.
Second, I live with my mother and father now, too. I meet them many times a day. So, I am influenced by them strongly. My mother is very friendly. She talks with me as if we are friends. So, I often think that it is good to be a friendly to everyone. On the other hands, my father is earnest. He often works whenever I see him, so I am respect him. I want to work actively in the future. They are kind to me, so I want to be kind to my children, too.
Third, Friends are the one of making me. Especially, old friends make me strongly. When I was a child, I play outside, so we often play not inside but outside. We went to the stream near our house to fish small crabs, went fishing to the pond, and went to the small mountain to make our secret base. They were pretty exciting. While I played with them, I became to like creatures. I became to be interested in life. Now, I belong to the bioscience department in K.G. It is influenced by old friends, maybe.
REAL
Hello. Today, I want to tell you about a book. The title is “REAL”. I like this book very much. The story is written by Takehiko Inoue. He is one of the most famous caricaturist(漫画家) in Japan. I have known the caricaturist, Takehiko Inoue. Because, I like basketball and he drew a basketball comic, “SLAM DANK”. I have liked his comic, so I read “REAL” as soon as I find it at first time. Well, “REAL” is the story of some cool men. Most of men in this story are basketball players. But, they are not normal basketball players. Almost of them can’t walk! And they always use their wheelchairs. They are wheelchair basketball player!! Basketball that you know is that players always run and jump! However wheelchair basketball players can’t. Well, how do they play basketball? They use their wheelchairs when they run, overtake an opponent, shoot. So they use their hands when they do such things. It is very hard. And, you may think the basketball is not exciting and fun. But the thought isn’t right. The players use their wheelchairs very well and they run quickly with their wheelchair. I’m sure that you will be excited, into it and you want to read the continuance if you start to read it!
On the other hand, when you read it, you will recognize that disable people are very hard every day. They can’t walk, so most of them use wheelchair. They look easy because they sit down to the sheet. It is not right. Maybe, their spinal nerves(脊髄神経) can’t work because they had a traffic accident, etc. This is how, they can’t use their abdominal muscle(腹筋) and their muscle of back(背筋). They can’t even sit comfortably. Especially, it is so hard when they move to their wheelchair from somewhere. So, it is not easy that they use a bathroom.
This is how I want you to read “REAL”. Perhaps, the comic will change your thought about the disable people. And I wish it came.
Go to the sea in Wakayama
Today, I would like to tell you about this summer more particular than I wrote before. At the first half of this summer, I went to the sea in Wakayama with my friends that have known since I joined the school festival committee. So, Kenta, Motohiro, Takahisa and TK went there with me. The weather is neither good nor bad. It is cloudy. So we thought that we can’t be bronzed from the sun. But we caught the sun very much. We went there by train. It took long time. As soon as we reached there, we got our dresses to. Then we swam and played beach ball very hard, and some of us took many pictures to make memory. After some time, we were hungry. So, we were going to go to lunch near the beach. However, there were no restaurants and food stores but one restaurant. We went to the restaurant. At the front of it, there is a menu plate of the restaurant. It said that “beef curry, chicken curry, pork curry, vegetable carry, and more menus.” The restaurant didn’t look a curry restaurant, so we thought that there are the other menus, for example, Chinese fried rice (Tya-han), Oyako-don (a bowl of rice topped with chicken and eggs), and so on. However, when we entered the building and found a menu, we were very surprised. This is because what adding the menu which we looked before is only one thing and it is curry-pan. Moreover, it is big curry-pan, it cost 6 hundreds yen. It is very expensive. After the lunch, we swim and play again. A few hours later, we were going to leave there. We wanted to wash our body. But the shower room and public bath (銭湯) have been closed yet. We had a difficult for some minutes. After that, we decide that we go to the public bath in Osaka and have dinner together. So we got a train with that we kept wearing swimming trunks. When we reach the station in Osaka, the trunks and our body had already dried. So we didn’t go to the bath and went to dinner. The day is very fun for me.
Anpan-man
When you were a child, what TV program did you like watching? A Ultra-man(ウルトラマン)? A Rider of Mask(仮面ライダー)? An Anpan-man(アンパンマン)? These three TV programs are watched by most of children. Which programs do you like the best? My favorite TV program was An Anpan-man. Why I liked Anpan-man? I think there are a few reason that I like it the best. First, An Anpan-man is an animated cartoon. The characters in this story are very cute. Second, An Ultra-man and A Rider of Mask are not broadcasted when I was the age which you should watch them. This is why I watch An Anpan-man and like it.
There are many characters in the story of Anpan-man. I want to introduce you them. The main character is Anpan-man. He is a fairy of bean-jam bun(あんぱん). He is a hero. If anyone has a trouble, he helped them. If anyone is very hungry, he gives a piece of his head to them. Because his head is Anpan and you can eat it. In this story, there is a bad guy. His name is Baikin-man. He is a fairy of germ(ばいきん). He often does bad things and gives troubles to people in the town. When he does such things, Anpan-man come quickly and punishes Baikin-man. Anpan-man has 2 good skills. They are” An-punch! ” and” An-kick! ”. Baikin-man is always punished by these skills.
Next I want to tell about the friends of Anpan-man. Jam Ojisan(old man) , Bataco-san(woman) and cheese(dog) make many breads and help Anpan-man. Shokupan-man and kare(curry)pan-man are good friends for Anpan-man. Melonpanna-chan is Anpan-man’s young sister. She ejects melon juice from her head! Roalpannna-chan is a older sister of Melonpanna-chan. A half of her hart is bad. This is because when she is made, Baikin-man does something.
Creampanda is a younger brother of Melonpanna and Roalpamnna. He looks like a panda. When I was a child, there are Melonpanna, Roalpanna and Creampanda.
They are new characters. “Anpan-man” is still broadcasted now. Maybe more new characters appear from now. If you don’t watch this TV program, you should watch it!
This summer
In summer vacation, I had much time to do something. So, I tried many things.
First, I started a part time job. I work as a waiter in some hotels. Before it, I haven’t ever worked part time, but sork as a remover in last sprincation. Moreover I worked in it during only spring vacation. It is very short. So, when I work as a waiter at first time, I was very tensed up. And I made mistakes. My boss was angry at that time. But now, I because accustomed to working. So I am very fun to work these days.
Second, at the PL fireworks festival, Kenta, Kota Tanaka, Takahiro Sakae, Kenji Yoshida and I visited to Hodaka’s house to watch the fireworks. At noon, Kenta, Sakae, Kenji and I went shopping to Horie in Osaka.After that, Kota and we went to Hodaka’s home. It surprised us that his house is the front of the prison! We went to buy some kitchen stuff of Yakiniku and many snacks. We ate Yakiniku in the balcony of Hodaka’s house. And we watched PL fireworks on the roof of his house, eating water melons. It was very fun. Hodaka’s mother and father was a very kind. His mother made us delicious breakfast. Thanks Hodaka’s parents!
Third, some friends, Kenta, Hodaka, Motohiro, Takahisa, Kota and Kenji, came to my house. We visited to the a few famous temples, Ryoan-temple, Kinkaku-temple and Ninna-temple. We went sightseeing with a girl, nonno-ko. She is takahisa’s old friend.
We ate Okonomiyaki in my house. This Okonomiyaki is bought in “Jumbo”. Jumbo is a popular Okonomiyaki restaurant near my house, but you can also buy the kitchen stuff of Okonomiyaki in it. This Okonomiyaki is very big, cheap, and delicious! My friends enjoyed it very much. Next day, we went to Kawara-machi. It is shopping area in Kyoto. And the third day, we watched TV or played computer game. Then they came their house. We had nice time. We enjoyed it.
Forth, I went to kyusyu with some friends who are vioscience students. We went there by airplane. I wnet to Hakata, Saga and Nagasaki. There are many delicious foods! Hakata-ramen is the best when I ate there. If you go to Kyusyu, you should eat it! The trip is very fine.
Weekend
What do you do a weekend? I have some friends who like to play basketball. They make a basketball team and often practice basketball on some weekends a month. And they asked me to play with them. It is happy for me. So, I often go to practice basketball with them. I joined basketball club in junior high school and high school. But, almost all people in this team also joined basketball club. So, they play basketball better than me. I like to watch them playing basketball and fighting with them. After playing, I enjoy eating dinner with them. Talking with them is more pleasant than playing basketball with them.
However, on the last weekend, I didn’t go to it. This is because, I have big exams after some weekends, moreover I must write many reports. I can’t do well in my room. So, I went to school to do them on Saturday. Though on Saturday, there were many the life science class students. We studied hard together. However, unfortunately, the library was closed at seven o’clock. But, I wanted to continue to study. So, I went to “Gust” near the Sanda station with some friends, Kenta, Tomohiro, Motohiro, Tatsuya, Don, Tetsuro. We ate hamburger steak or steak. All of them were delicious, maybe. At least, Cheese steak that I ate was very good. And after some hours, Daisuke came there. There is Daisuke’s room is near the restaurant. So, Kenta, Tomohiro and I went to Daisuke’s room and stay at it. Daisuke is very kind! The next day, Daisuke had to go to part time job at nine o’clock. So we left there at nine o’clock, but the library in this school was opened at twelve o’clock. So, we went to “MOS BURGER”. Then we went to the library. And we continue to study.
24th Jun
Hello. I want to talk about me in 24th Jun. I have two friends who have known with me since we are children. At the time they tried to kill me. They were very serious. So, I was afraid of them and I tried to escape from them. However, they are good at finding me, somehow, at the time. Finally, I was found and caught by them! Suddenly, I woke up on my bed. This was a dream. It was 5:50. It is a time when I must get up and start preparing for going to my school. I ate breakfast in a somber mood. I had eaten “Tya-duke”, it is boiled rice with hot green tea poured over it, but I’m tired of it. So, on this morning, I ate “Furikake”. I was able to leave home faster than always. I rode a JR train. It is very crowded. In this day, it is also crowded. I hate it. On the train, I try to read English book which is one of homework in English class, but reading book in it is difficult. In some station, many people get down. So, sometimes, I can sit down on a seat. At the time, fortunately I can sit. So I try to read the book, but I was very sleepy and I slept. I got down in Shin-Sanda station. Then I rode on motorbike. After two classes, I attended to experiment class. The experiment is difficult. I often make some mistakes, but I didn’t make any big mistake in the day.
After experiment I was tired. However, Mr. Hayashi say to me, ”Let’s go to eat Yakiniku! I’ll treat today!” Wow, he is very kind! Finally five people including Mr. Hayashi go there. He took all of us out to it! He is nice guy.
After it, I came home and went to bed.
